Swetha.T.J is the only daughter of Shri. T.S.Jayakumar and Smt. T.J.Gayathri. She is a student of Shri Sankarlal Sundarbai Shasun Jain College for women pursuing her under graduation in B.sc. Psychology. Swetha developed passion for dancing right from her childhood. When she was 10, she joined Bharathanatyam under the able tutelage of Guru Smt. Lakshmi Kannan and performed her Kinkini pooja in the year 2016 and she was conferred the title of “NRUTHYASHREE” at the time of her Arangetram in 2021. It was a smooth sailing journey for the past 8 years. She has given various dance performances under the guidance of her gurus Dr. Shri P.R. Venkata Subramanian and Smt. Lakshmi Kannan. Her performances include: The Navaratri dance festival, The Margazhi Kalai Vizha, Margazhi Nruthya Kadambam, Sivarathri dance festival, Annual day celebrations of Jathiswaraalaya, Hanuman Jayanthi festival, and many more. As an aspiring dancer, she is now currently learning Nattuvangam and also Kathak under the able tutelage of Guru Smt. Lakshmi Kannan.
